Surf Day is sponsored by the Jersey Shore Surfcasters, it is a day strictly for those with surfcasting interests. If you want to get a full dose of surfcasting to help you through the winter doldrums, here it is! Surf Day offers high quality seminars and workshops throughout the day, see our "Who Is Coming" page for profiles of the speakers. We also have great vendors; plugbuilders, factory representatives, tackle shops and much more available. There is a cafeteria available as well. Every child under 10 is free. All kids get something from the JSS. Go to "who is Coming" and "Seminar Schedule" pages for more info.

*SPECIAL PARKING NOTICE FOR SD 2012*
For those arriving at Surf Day after 10:30 a.m. on Saturday: there will be a huge county basketball tournament that starts at 11 a.m. at Brookdale. If the normal SD parking lots (Lot 6 and 7) are closed or full, the best place to park would be Lot 1. Note that Lot 1 is huge. Once you turn onto Museum Drive, go all the way to the end, it will dump you into a huge parking lot, turn left and you will see a huge Brookdale, red and white, banner at the other end. Park near the banner and follow that path to the Warner Student Life Center. We will have SD signs posted as well. The college has all parking lots marked by number.

Surf Day 2011...was a huge success!!
Thanks to everyone involved!
The Jersey Shore Surfcasters would like to thank all those that attended Surf Day.
The attendees made it super! The vendors had the chance to sell or show their products, the seminar speakers shared valuable info to help surfcasters improve over the coming season.
The JSS also wishes to thank those that contributed to the grand prize drawing/raffle: Our friends at Aquaskinz Corporation, Van Staal Reels, St. Croix Rods, Grumpy’s Bait and Tackle, Fisherman’s Supply, as well as door prizes from Afterhours Custom Plugs, Super Strike Lures, Bimini Bay Outfitters (Tsunami Plugs), Lemire’s Plugworks, RV Plugs, Outdoor Etc., Ameripak and Korkers.

SURF DAY 2009 was a tremendous success!
The third annual Surf Day, the Jersey Shore's biggest off-season surfcasting attraction, went off without a hitch! The JSS is thankful to all those that made it a great day, shops, vendors, manufacturer reps, and plugbuilders from all over the industry as well as the seminar speakers, and members of the JSS.
Surf Day was created with "giving back" to the surfcaster as the objective. Offering plenty of food for fodder by the way of high quality seminars and workshops as well as a diverse information agenda to chose from. The JSS is committed to producing quality surfcasters.
The JSS would also like to thank all of those that donated door prizes:
Korker's, BW surf/plug bags (Outdoors etc.), AOK metals, Super Strike lures, Pt. Jude Lures, Atom Poppers and Swimmers donated by Uncle Josh, RI Poppers, Hand Carved lures, Ronz, of course our very good friends at Aquaskinz, as well as custom plugs from local plugbuilders. Our thanks goes out to al of you.
The JSS would also like to thank Russ "Big Rock" Paoline for his incredible donation The "Plug Box" which raised over $1,200.00 for JSS member Mark Jolliffe and his wife who is battling breast cancer, plus an additional $400.00 for the American Cancer Society.
Also we would be remiss if we didn't thank the following for the Grand Prize Donations:
